Submitting abstracts

Abstracts should be submitted by email or by post/fax no later than 1st May 2000. Abstract length should be about 200 words and should include title, authors names and affiliations. Send abstracts by email to ICT2000@its.org.

Please also specify your preference for oral or poster presentation. The final decision will be made by the organising committee. The official language of the conference is English.

Submission of papers

The following information will assist you in the preparation of your presentation and paper.

Please review the information carefully before submitting your paper. This package includes:

  1. Manuscript guidelines
  2. Sample manuscript with style sheet

 One (1) original, three (3) copies, and one electronic version of your manuscript are due at time of registration. Formatted manuscripts should not exceed the length of 4 pages (8 sides) for poster and oral presentations and 8 pages (16 sides) for invited talks. This length is meant as a guideline, papers slightly longer or shorter will be accepted.

Manuscripts will be reviewed for clarity and content. If revisions are necessary it is intended that the authors will correct manuscripts during the course of the conference. That day's session chairs will be will be available each morning so that oral presenters may have an opportunity to meet with them prior to their presentation if they wish. Meeting area will be determined and announced at time of manuscript submission.

 

Poster preparation and guidelines

All poster presenters must check-in at the Registration Desk the day of their presentation at least one hour prior to assembling their posters. Poster material should be prepared in English. A poster panel with a 1.5m by 1.5m area will be assigned to each poster presenter. It is recommended that poster size should be no bigger than 90cm by 120cm.  Fixing hardware will be provided by the organising committee.

All material is to be removed by the author at least one hour prior the following poster session. The conference committee cannot be held responsible for any lost material.
